What Is A Father? A Poem To Honor All That The Men In Our Lives Do For Our Families On This..Father’s Day!

My kids love their daddy!
Sorry to be MIA yesterday, but I have been working feverishly on a Father’s Day DVD. 4 hours yesterday and since 4:30 a.m. this morning. UGH! It’s like 40 minutes long. I hope dad likes it.
Anyway…since it is YOUR day dads, let’s give the men in our lives some credit today and talk about what makes a man a father. (In poetry format.)
What is a father?
A father is someone who gives without a second thought, who loves with just a simple glance,
Who shares his heart 365 days of the year, and always gives a 2nd and even a 100th chance.
He’s always there to protects his loved ones, if ever they should stumble and fall,
A father is brave, he works hard, and is forever and always giving his family his all.
A sweet daddy to his kids, is seen in their eyes, as the most powerful entity,
One that every single little boy and girl in the world, forever will aspire to be.
He’s a friend, sometimes a foe, but there are many times in life, this just must be,
He’d gladly die the most tragic death, to protect the lives of his precious, little baby(ies).
A father gives hope even during hopless times, and not one soul will ever know,
For his family he’d walk to the ends of the Earth, and kiss his kids and his wife before he’d go.
This Father’s Day we should sit back, and as wives think of all that our husbands do do,
They make many lives so much brighter each day, and today my dear husband.. I am honoring you.

Yes, sometimes we moms feel like we do SO much. But today is dad’s day, and they do a lot to. So let’s give them the praise they so greatly deserve.
