What An Amazing Shopper Can Get For $112 And Change
9-12-2012
My little shoe lovers are 30 months, 1 week, and 3 days old
I’ve always been an awesome shopper. ‘The best’ wouldn’t be going too far in my opinion
. I walked into the shoe store looking to get a pair of Hello Kitty shoes (their favorite) for my girls and low and behold I found sale after sale. I was in true hog heaven. Look what I got then we’ll add up all of the retail prices. I just love saving money!
I got a pair of (for once in a long while) quality boots for myself, and a pair of Sketcher Shape-Ups..the kind I like, at an INSANE price. Plus buy one get one half off on top of clearance prices. I was high as a kite
!
(Shopping- my drug of choice)
Connie boots – retail $79.99
Shape-ups – retail $109
(I actually paid that for my 1st pair.)
Hello Kitty shoes x’s two – retail $34.99 each =’s $69.98 total
Zodiac boots that look and feel like true Uggs w/o the super high price tag x’s two- retail $49.99 each =’s $99.98 total
Totes Winter boots x’s two- retail $29.99 each =’s $59.98 total
Grand retail total: $418.93
My total: $112.68
(With twins you Gotta fetch those bogo sales.)
I’ve done better in the past at the end of the season sales, but some of these are not in that category, so I’d say I did damn well.
Why skimp on quality? My days of Payless shopping are over. Their prices have gotten much higher than they used to be anyway. Why bother? Get sales…buy quality! That’s my motto. Just shop SMART!
YAY! More great bargains to come. I got my twins a complete Fall/Winter wardrobe for under $300. TONS of stuff to, so be sure and tune in to the next edition of ‘shopaholic mommy blogger gets great deals.’
Happy Wednesday everybody!

Yes, Payless prices have gotten out of hand! I’ve turned into a gifted clearance shopper!
I know. It used to feel like you got some really great deals there, but would I rather buy $25 or more ‘no name’ princess sneakers for the kids, or pay the same for Skechers brand on sale? That choice is clear to me. I think they might be in trouble if they don’t go back to their lower prices. Even with bogo, I’m no longer impressed. HAPPY SHOPPING:)
