Twinpossible Review Of ‘The World Of Eric Carle’s, Very Hungry Caterpillar’, Interactive Toy, For Baby!
Product Recommendation & Review Of The Week! Eric Carle’s Very Hungry Caterpillar, Activity, Hanging, Plush Toy!
9-19-2010
The product of the week, this go round, is a very fun, very high in quality, and chocked full of fun features, interactive, developmental toy, from the very imaginative mind, of Eric Carle. This colorful, and intriguing toy, will have the tiniest of newborns, gazing up at it in wonder.
Easily attach it to the handle of your infant car seat carrier, even hang it up, on your baby’s exercise play mat if you wish. The perfect toy to amuse your child with, during tummy time.
Some toys out there, are expensive for what you get, and not worth the price, but this creative, hungry caterpillar, is worth the retail price and then some. You will see it in your babies eyes. At around 5 months old, they should be able to not only gaze, but be able to fully hold, and manipulate this toy in their hands. They will start shaking it, and you will be able to hear the rattle and bells inside. It isn’t loud, don’t worry folks.
Other features include, a nice sized, bite-able teether, at the end of it. My Annie loves chomping down on that one. It features areas of crinkly sounds, which your child will love to hear, as they create unique noises, they have never heard of before, with their very own fingers. It has textured beads, they can move around a bit. Everything is brightly colored, and very eye catching, which definitely attracts the little ones. Your baby will be delighted. She might even roll over it, like Allie did in this video below. A definite award winning toy in this mother’s book!
I gave it 4.75 out of 5 stars, which is an excellent score, the 1 and only thing I would change about this product, would be the white hanger. I would make it so i detaches from the toy, so while you aren’t using it to hang, or when baby is older, and won’t want to have it hanging any longer, they can play with it, without having that big plastic piece near their faces, you got to watch out for a bit.
I would put some heavy duty, strong velcro, so that it could be easily (By a parent) attached, then detached from The hanger. When my girls grow a bit more, I may just cut it off. That is my only gripe and it’s not huge, I just think all hanging toys should be made detachable from their rings, for such a purpose, of floor play.
