Things To Remember Today On Easter Morning. Things To Remember Every Morning Really.
(PLUS, Very Cute & Funny Baby Dancing Video.)
When you wake up bleary eyed from not enough sleep, and wish you could creep back into bed, remember you are fortunate to have that comfy bed to sink into at night. Not everybody is as lucky.
When your kids come in screaming before you have had your morning coffee, and wrestle you to the floor. (In this case perhaps for permission to start the egg hunt.) Even if you feel grumpy, groggy, and in desperate need of that cup of sweet java, like NOW.
Hug those children, and remember those who don’t have arms that are full, and some who have nobody around them to love, period. Not just today, but every day. Think also of those whose children are sick, maybe even gone from this world, and hug your own tighter still. For these are the things we take for granted every day,
When you say grace before your Easter dinner, and you glance around the table before enjoying the spoils of your labor. (Or your husband’s labor. Not that we don’t labor damn hard, just without any ‘monetary’ pay.) Remember that as you eat your ham or roast beef, whatever you choose to eat on such an occasion, and sip down your glass of wine.
Enjoy a sweet potato and crisp apple pie for desert. Never forget how many people are starving, and don’t have such a feast, not for today, nor for any occasion, such as: Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Ones who fight just to survive day to day on scraps. Then the next time you say grace, remember those people inside of your prayers, and give thanks yet again.
Remember today to count your many blessings. Each and every last one of them. Even the ones who occasionally drive you batty! Also, try never to sweat the small stuff. Life is too darn short as it is, and time is so very precious. Be thankful for health and happiness, and you will find joy every day inside your own family.
Even in the midst of chaos there is love, and a lot of laughs. Now go grab that cup of joe will ya? (Take a peek at the video below while you sip, if you want an Easter chuckle. 😀 )
Happy Easter to all, and to all a great day!
Love your friend,
Shelly @ Twinpossible.
Two bunnies are better then one. Is that a cute pic or what?
