Sentimental Saturday: Could These Beauties Be Any More Fraternal? 23 Months & Climbing!

We are 23 months, 1 week, & 2 days old.

 

 

 

1st we go cutesy. Could there be a more tender moment among twins? (No matter how short those moments may be.)

 

 

Then we go pure diva

 

 

Then we get dirty.

(Yummy dirt!)

 

 We then wonder, how on Earth are these two even related? They look NOTHING alike.

 

It’s quite comical to me still. When I was at the mall and some woman working one of those booths was so taken back at how identical the girls appeared some months ago, she told me to go and have a DNA test to prove those lying doctors wrong. Yes, keeping a straight face was indeed not easy.

 

What about proving my eyesight wrong? She said she was an identical twin herself which made her the best judge of this. I was thinking, ”Vodka and O.J. at work so early? Really?”

 

Then you have the opposing side who just thinks they can’t even be related AT ALL they look so different. Yup, they had an extra bub left on the shelves in the maternity ward that blistery March day. I decided, “What the hell? What’s one more?”

 

 

In mom’s eyes..this is as fraternal as fraternal twins get in both looks and in personality.

I have..

 

Brown eyes

 

Dirty blond hair

 

A tiny small nose, almost too tiny and cute to pick.

 

Fine, sparse hair. Straight like mamas.

 

A small round face and head. 

 

Rounder eyes that turn into half moons when smiling hugely.

 

More of an olive skin color then her sissy.

 

Adorably kissable lips. (Got to keep an eye on this one.)

 

An attitude and temper that makes Shannen Doherty look like a pussy cat. (And no..that is NOT an exaggeration!)

 

 

Then there’s…

 

*Allie Pop, Allina, Allie Ma Ma*

 

I have

 

Blue with some green eyes.

 

A wider nose I’d love to pinch if it wouldn’t hurt.

 

Thicker cheeks like a chipmunk. So cute!

 

Medium brown hair with auburn and golden highlights in it.

 

Waves in her hair ends.

 

Thick mane.

 

A little bit of a paler skin tone.

 

A larger, more heart-shaped face.

 

Almond shaped eyes.

 

Mommy’s lips that draw down at the sides.

 

Smaller ears.

 

A personality that is much more laid back then the other, who is by far more high strung. And she’s much more affectionate. Kind of like a puppy dog vs. a tiger.

 

 

Case in point?

Both inside and out just two entirely different people. But damn are they both ever cute. Love your twins for who they are, and listen to no one and nothing else.

 

 

23 months….Oh my! 2 years is right around the corner. Keep tuning in for more……….
