*Recall Alert!* Children’s Benadryl & Motrin. Moms Beware!
New Recalls…Please Read!
There has been a recent recall, some of you may, or may not know about, involving 4.8 million packages and bottles of children’s Motrin, and Benadryl. (Which we happened to be using on our sick kids, until we saw this recall.)
Johnson & Johnson, has stated, that the reason for the recall, is NOT due to the medications, being , quote un quote, ‘Dangerous’, which is a relief, but they are recalling, due to ‘Insufficiencies’, in the overall manufacturing process.
Apparently, this was found, after Tylenol (McNeil), took millions of their products, off of store shelves, in the recent past. Johnson and Johnson, a division of McNeil, performed a comprehensive review of their products, which in turn, found the insufficiency. Again, this is NOT a life-threatening danger, or a danger at all, (So they say), but all parents, MUST be aware!
The recall involved all Junior strength Motrin caplets, Children’s Benadryl, fastmelt Tablets, (Cherry & Grape flavors), and junior strength Motrin Caplets. All others, are listed below.
They are saying that we parents, do NOT need to take any action, but as a parent, you can decide what to do with your own products, should these be sitting in your medicine cabinet right now.
In this mother’s opinion, always better safe then sorry, however, they are quite adamant, about these recalled items, posing no danger to children. It’s your call, moms & dads!
