Off To BlogHer ’12 Today!

My insane in the membrane twinnies are 29 months and 2 days old!

Whelp, it’s 5 am. I got woken up by a special someone at 2 last night. I think all twin moms know that would mean that one of two or two at once, special someones set off my internal alarm clock. It certainly wasn’t the mail man.

I happen to have had some crazy, bad dreams beforehand, so I woke up my heart pounding, pulse racing, stomach churning, and I just never got back to sleep…try as I might. So, I may in fact be up a full 24 hours. (If I’m having a good time, he he.)

The day you want to look half way decent, no luck. I’ll probably have red, irritated eye balls, puffy eyes, and a ‘cat dragged out of the bag’ look the whole day. SUPER ! I have no idea what to expect AT ALL from BlogHer ’12 really, but I will be sure to post about it after the experience is complete.

I invited my husband along, I guess for moral support, but now that I think about how many bloggers are female and how I’ll likely be getting into conversations leaving him out.. I wonder why I put myself into that situation…HA HA! Maybe I’ll slap a wig and some lipstick on him. He’ll fit right in. But still..some of my best jokes are about men. I can’t even use those anymore .

And as much as I have actually wanted to see my special, little friend arrive. Her plane must have been delayed roughly 2 weeks or so. Yes, it is my usually horrific, and very dreaded Aunt Flo. I am praying so hard that she doesn’t crash land today of all days. I feel cramps and am hoping she’ll wait until tomorrow because the 1st day, hell 1st 2 or 3 days I am MISERABLE and in the bathroom every 20 minutes, so pray for me there.

I’ll bring a black dress and a painkiller in my purse just in case

Hopefully, I’ll get to leave the devil horns at home though and enjoy myself.

I haven’t kept good track of my cycles after coming off the pill several months back, and NO we do not want to get pregnant at all. (It was a high blood pressure issue that took me off of them.) I know she’s tardy, but I have all the symptoms of the impending doom. UGH! Auntie, I can pencil you in for tomorrow…say noon?

Ok, short and sweet for today. My eyes are burning and I know that even this early I don’t have long before the 1st crazy awakens. It’s been mayhem the last few days and so I guess today is really a break for me despite my nerves.The twins have just started taking the terrible two’s to a whole new level. I’ll save that for another day though. I’m still going to really, really miss them, regardless.
