Disney Sing It Party Hits For Wii Review. A Game Where Your Child Is A Superstar!
Disney Sing It Party Hits For Wii Review. A Game Where Your Child Is A Superstar!
1-13-2012
If you have a wanna be superstar in your home, this is the perfect gift for them. Maybe even for yourself, if singing in the shower makes your day but leaves you feeling slightly embarrassed. With Disney’s new line of Sing It games, you and your child (of course), can be the stars without the embarrassment.
The bundle includes a quality microphone, (better then I expected for the price), and the game, depending on which edition you choose.. the bundle with mic, or game only. And plenty of tunes to keep those kiddies occupied for hours upon hours. I would have adored this as a child while I was singing into my pen. Oh, how awesome this would have been.
The game features some really cool functions & features.
#1. Encore, encore. Recorded playback!
You can playback your recorded song to listen to simply by pushing the encore button. There’s also a save feature as well. Very cool for bragging away to mom, dad, and friends.
#2. Great amount of popular tunes. 30 in all on this one game for under $30, mic included!
Of course, kids are always wanting for more, but for the low price you pay for this game and mic, you really are getting a very fair amount of songs. I hope they continue to come out with more editions of this game series. (Maybe something for us oldies but goodies to
! We might be older, but we certainly aren’t dead!)
#3. Various difficulty options for all ages and experience levels.
You can choose to sing along with the artist if you don’t know the song well enough. There are various ‘stages.’ Easy, medium, and hard. The harder you choose the less you will hear the voice of the singer, so you can take on more of a challenge as you go. Then when ready, you can have it in complete karaoke mode, singing all on your own. I like that they have all of the options they do, because it’s hard to learn a song by written words alone, especially for younger users. The options are also great for young ones that can’t yet read. A definite perk.
#4. Uses minds & voices!
Keeps kids occupied and doing something good for their minds and their confidence levels. So many toys and games nowadays are geared towards just winning, and don’t utilize a child’s full abilities and talents. This game will make any child feel like a star, and help build their vocal skills, pitch, memory, and self-esteem even. Be sure and give them lots of praise and applause.
#5. The actual video plays in the background. This keeps things interesting and more ‘real’.
It’s very visually stimulating for users. I was very impressed that it isn’t just a mic and words on a screen. There is so much more to it. Including the stars singing along with you and their hits, or lip syncing depending on which mode you choose, and it’s far from boring. The game has a lot of staying power, which means your child or teen will remain entertained and stimulated for some time. It’s not a game that will ever vanish from use altogether. They may want to listen to new tunes and learn more great hits, but they’ll always go back and sing the older ones to. It truly is an incredible value.
#6. Super cool voice effects.
Kids will love to try out their voice in fun and different ways. My daughter just loves the chipmunk sounding voice effect, but there are several, cool others.
#7. Get competitive. Have a sing off!
This is great for the older kids. They can have a virtual sing off. Definitely something me and my friends would have enjoyed.
#8. Learn how to sing better.
In this Party Hit’s edition, Demi Lovato teaches you how to improve vocals, pitch, and also important breathing exercises that true recording artists use while performing.
#9. Duet mode to have fun with siblings and friends.
#10. For 1-8 players.
You can have a singing party with quite a few friends! Definitely be the popular kid on the block!
Already bought one or two games and have enough mics for your liking? Not a problem! They have the option of buying the game without the mic at an even lower cost, so you aren’t forced to buy more then you need. I’d actually like another mic, and it doesn’t cost much, so I’ll be getting the bundle when we purchase a second Sing It game, which will be soon. You get plenty of bang for your buck. This I promise.
Twinpossible rates Disney Sing It Party Hits, 5 out of 5 stars.
Want to know which songs come on the version I am reviewing? I am listing all of them, since the box doesn’t list all 30. Keep on making the great games Disney and we’ll keep on buying them.

Disney…the only thing you could ever do to improve on this game would be to make more songs downloadable from the Internet onto the game, (If possible). Of course, there would be a charge per song, but it’d be worth it. I think the price for 30 songs though is extremely fair. I have spent way more, for much, much less. This game is very entertaining. Even for a 30 something like ME!

She’s so cute. I think my daughter would love this game.
I agree. She’s so cute. I have seen her in some of your You Tube videos. Such personality she has. We don’t have the Wii but my kids have been asking for one. If it keeps them occupied it might be worth the money. Thanks for the great review.
