First Fitness Kid’s First trampoline has been recalled! A second recall to report to you today. This hits home because back in February I thought about buying two of these for the twins but opted for something different. (Thank goodness.)

 

These trampolines have the potential to cause injury because repeated use can cause the handlebar to break away from the unit possibly causing lacerations and backward or forward fall accidents.

 

These were sold most exclusively at Toys R Us stores, though it is humanly possible for it to have been sold elsewhere on the Internet. If you have any trampoline that resembles this, do make sure yours is not this brand and is not involved in the recall.

 

The affected models were sold between September 2010 and April 2012 for between $45 & $70. The trampoline has the words ‘First Fitness’ in bold, white letters, which aren’t very easy to miss.  The model number is: FF-6902TR and Toys R Us SKN 491463.

 

40,000 trampolines have been involved in this recall, and though there are 4 reported incidents of the handlebar breaking off, no injuries have been recorded to date.
