Almost 10 weeks has passed by since my beautiful twin girls were born, and all I can think about, is why did I waste my entire pregnancy, worrying about everything, and visualizing, how hard things were gonna be, when instead, I should have been thinking about how wonderful, things were going to be.
It’s nice to be pleasantly surprised, but man, do I wish I had savored the whole pregnancy thing more. Life is good. Don’t be scared ladies! (Oh and this is coming from a mom, who does not have any nannies, or help outside of a husband, so you know there is much to be hopeful for, and also coming from a person, who isn’t so organized, and ‘together’, isn’t a clean freak, and a Sergeant. Doesn’t have a list of rules, and a silver whistle, and also enjoys having some time to breathe alone on occassion, if just for a few minutes. And once every so often, buy something for herself, like a new pair of shoes, not just going out to buy baby sketchers…he he!)
Just a person, like any other, not super mom. Enjoy your pregnancy & every moment thereafter! Being a mommy to multiples is a GIFT!
Happy almost 10 week birthday Annie and Allie. Mommy loves you!
