All About Diastasis Recti: Facts & Myths With Video Vlog + Photos
My beautiful bundles turned little ladies are 7 years & 3 weeks old.
Real-life photos of diastasis recti included in the video. This is a great diagram of the issue and the muscles in the abdominals that need to brought back together again and need strengthening after being weakened through trauma.
Diastasis Recti affects millions of people, and most of those people have no clue what it is really going on with their bodies and have never even heard of the term ‘diastasis recti’ before. I know I hadn’t. They just notice that their bellies seem to stick out more than they used to, and that it seems impossible to get their belly flat again no matter how hard that they try. This goes for both women AND men, despite the condition being much more common in postpartum women vs. other people. Diastasis recti, however, does not discriminate and can be caused by other things outside of pregnancy. Many don’t know that either.

In this video I discuss everything about diastasis recti, things you need to know about the condition and how it impacts your body, your health and your life, photos of what a diastasis recti actually looks like, how it can affect even those who are so fit they have 6 packs and lots of muscles, like body builders, and facts and myths about this important topic that we should be educated about by our doctors but we are NOT! This is why I am here to step in… to educate and to give hope to the hopeless who have read too much negative like I once did and are feeling down and out about the whole situation. I know that I shed many tears after self-diagnosing and Googling away. Once confirmed by my doctor I cried even more, as he didn’t have much to say, which left me sad and confused. Please don’t over-Google (or do it at all). If you have already, watch the video below please. You may be in the same place that I was 7+ years ago and feeling frightened. DON’T BE! There is hope.
In some cases an abdominal separation can be completed avoided, but some learn of this too little too late like I did. Please DO know that surgery is NOT required to ‘fix’ a diastasis issue. Beyond the vast majority can heal it all in their own, but you need to be educated and take the right steps towards healing and a complete and total recovery. It’s absolutely possible. This video will provide you with the answers to the questions you may have, and help lead you in the right direction towards a happier life, a higher self-esteem and a sexier, flat belly, with a cost lower than you could ever imagine. NO PAIN, NO SURGERY – TOTAL HEALING! This I assure you!
If you have any questions about diastasis recti that you would like to discuss please do so below. I’m sure others would like to hear about anything you care to share about this too little talked about medical condition, and thanks for stopping by. Leave a comment about your DR concerns, as I do long to help others, and wish someone out there would have helped me know all about this scary, yet treatable, condition.
Educate and eliminate the problem of DR, and get your body back for summer (and beyond)!
