A Candid Interview With A 5 Year Old: ‘When I Grow Up… Forever BFF, Won’t Get Married, Love You Always, ETC.’ (Funny & Cute.)

The Twintastic, Twinpossible duo, are 10 months, 2.5 weeks old.
She sure loves me now, but…
Ok this I did a couple of days ago. I surprised my 5 year old daughter who is quite comical, and told her ‘Ok, I’m interviewing you for Twinpossible, right now.’
She probably didn’t know what the word interview meant but she said ‘ok’, as I promised to play Wii with her later on that night, and she was certainly willing to sacrifice a few minutes from her busy schedule, in exchange for that, but she didn’t know what I was going to say.
What is this about? Well, I always hear from her how she will never like boys, how I’m her best friend forever and always will be. No one will ever take my place as that. How she’ll never get married and have kids, and she will never be embarrassed by me, and will always want me around. Heck according to this interview, I can shaperone the High School Prom!
For fun, I just wanted to catch her off guard, and ask her some of those questions and more, not to just share here, but to keep for the future case of ‘I never said that!’ Or ‘I hate you, just go away!’ I know years from now, she’ll be shocked that she said any of this, and surely would deny every word, unless it was documented. The proof is in the pudding! I remember being 14,16, 20, 35
. This is so cute for now, but too bad it will not stand the test of time.
They are so innocent and funny at this age, and right now she’s a big time mama’s girl, but for how long, is the question? Maybe I have a few more good years left, but I don’t have forever, as she claims. She really had me in stitches with her answers, and her not so pleasant manners. Watch the tape and you will see what I’m referring to.
At 5 years old, they just love you whole-heartedly, so when she tells me to ‘get the heck away from her and her friends’ when she’s older, I think it might just kill me, based on this tape. I’ll probably sit in the living room watching it over and over again, with a box of Kleenex in hand.
I just thought this was fun, and I think you will enjoy it, if you have the time to watch. Maybe you can even relate. Remember it’s not enough to say, ‘one day you’ll take that back’, or ‘one day you’ll change your tune, or change your mind.’ They won’t remember….Get it on film! Unless they have an identical twin, they can not deny any of it.
Here you go. Enjoy! She is quite the character. You shouldn’t be bored, despite the length.
Back then….
Now…
Later on down the line…
Ok, maybe not this bad.
This looks about right!
Ah…how sad it is!
Have a great day ladies. (Gents to!)

absolutely priceless. you will be so glad you did that one day. she is adorable!
Ya got that right, my friend!! Unless she runs into Justin Beiber down the road, I guess she will remain single (YEAH RIGHT!) The things they say now are so sweet compared to..’Get out of my room’, ‘Don’t touch my stuff.’, ‘Stand 30 feet or more behind us.’ LOL.
Good for the future indeed. I also got the ammo of all of my kids in their birthday suits in case they get out of line. Want your friends to see THESE? HA HA HA! I’m so evil, but then again, so are teenagers. Ok, that is a strong word..semi-evil:)
Many thanks for stopping by and for the lovely comment!
xoxo
Your daughter is very cute and has promising eyes. I think she will be a good daughter…
