23 Wks & 2 Days! GROWING & 3D Ultrasound!

 

11/26/2009:: 23 Wk’s 2 Days…I’m Growing, So Are The Bubs!!
*HAPPY THANKSGIVING*

Hi there. I’m back, and 23 weeks and 2 days now, but at 22wks 6 days, this was my Dr report!! I have over 2.5 lbs of baby in me *Now even more, since it was 2 lbs 10 oz then!)…

 

BABY A-  10.6 in…1 lb 5 oz
BABY B-  10.9 in….also 1 lb 5 oz.

 

 Growing together perfectly, so much so,  I get to come in in 4 weeks and not 2 weeks, like it was supposed to be like by now, with twins.  He said He couldn’t dream up a better report (yay). It was sooo funny. They looked as if they were beating the cr%p out of each other. *Funny for now ONLY, of course*. 

 

 

The U/S lady was laughing, and going ‘LOOK, baby A is jabbing baby B..oh but don’t worry, baby B, just took care of her, right back’.   And then,  they just were goin at it.  No wonder why it seems they never sleep anymore.  How  can they?   I got to wonder if they really know what’s up, or just really get annoyed? One can only wonder, how the twin thing works in utero, I just hope that despite the jabbing one another, they remain happy and healthy is all.

 

 

 

 

 
The funniest thing,  was that after one would hit the other, one baby actually smiled, and then the other fought back,  and then appeared to smile also.   If it was coincidence it was pretty damn odd. You can see in two pics I’ll post In this entry, one baby is smiling, and in another, the other is smiling.   I WISH I could have had these photos in 3D.  The positions and actions were just perfect for it, and when I went for my 3D U/S on Friday it was really not what I expected.   They were not being cooperative, and were too fast, likely I over did the sugar, hoping for a great action video, which totally backfired, and then completely turned their backs on us. (Stay away from a stack of strawberry pancakes with whip cream,  and a tall glass of apple juice, with a lollipop on the way there, thinking you will get a better video. Too much sugar, is just TOO much. Just drink a glass of juice, that is all) Learn from my mistakes. 

 

 

Anyhow, I  definitely, would have paid for these regular ultrasound photos in 3D yesterday:(  It would have been perfect. Oh well,  we try again this Friday, I hope the next 15 minutes of the DVD, is much better to. No sugar-craze  this time.  I want to get pics where their computer can actually keep up with the girls.  They never saw such crazy babies, they told me. Again they were poking at each other..TROUBLE MAKERS, Ut-oh, I have one of those already, he he.  They only did baby A, as baby B, when he got to her, was back turned, and not budging.
 

 

 Oh and both are head down, hence all the rib kicks…..stay that way… PLEASE!!   I REALLY REALLY want to have a natural uncomplicated birth, w/o event or c section, so please pray for that for me…*Everything crossed*.  OH, and I’m measuring at 27 weeks..so, 4 ahead, not bad.   My 23 week pic looked more like 27 or 28 wk’s last time w/ Mikayla, which is scary, but it could be much worse, and people are telling me I still look soo tiny, especially for twins, so I guess my hormones make me feel ginormous. I think I’d be quite tiny indeed with only one this time, but I’ll never know.

 

 

Got to run, get ready, for Thanksgiving at my mom’s.  HAPPY  THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

 

 

 22+ & 23+ weeks!  Baby A & Baby B
